HISTORY
The Indian Public School, Hajipur a new venture in the field of education was established in 1992 by eminent educationists of Bihar to serve those section of Bihar population who were compelled to send their wards outside Bihar in absence of qualitative and affordable education close at home. In process they not only incurred huge expenses, their wards too were deprived of affection and guidance of their parents. The school was envisioned to serve this section of our population.
 
The School was granted affiliation by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi in April 2000 up to class X and in April 2004, up to class XII.
 
It is a matter of pride that as our school completes the glorious journey of 25 years, the school has successfully carved a niche for itself in Bihar consistently producing brilliant students with exceptional academic prowess, holistic personalities and positive attitude towards life and nature. The school is overwhelmed to state that the parents and the general public of the district have supported us and stood by us like a strong pillar in this journey.
 
The school aims at providing a sound foundation to its students. To this end, it believes in not only offering up-to-date knowledge through use of latest teaching techniques, but also in nurturing creativity and inuate potential of students. This allows on an all round development of student's personality, so that they may be well prepared to face the competitive world and vagaries of life. The school envisions a creative sythesis in each child of intelligence, emotions, scientific temper, communicative skills and art of life.
 
The above goals are met through year round extracurricular and co- curricular activities, workshops, educational visits, sports, interaction with renowned academicians and qualitative teaching through latest teaching techniques.The school's aims are enthusiastically supported by a team of highly
competent and experienced teachers selected strictly on merit with a background of reputed residential public schools, viz. Scindia Public School, Sainik School, Vanasthali School, St. Joseph's Convent and St. Xaviers' School.
 
Our teachers are a team of dedicated academics, proficient and sound in teaching methods and committed to maintaining a high standard of teaching. They are given regular briefings, orientations through workshops, refresher and orientation courses to hone their teaching skills further.
 
 
 
LOCATION
Indian Public School is situated on the northern flank of the river Ganga. It is located 2 Kms. north of Mahatma Gandhi Setu, on the left side of the Ganga Bridge Road when driving from Patna to Hajipur. It is 1km, east of Hajipur Railway Station and 15Kms, north of Patna, surrounded by green trees, orchards and plants, free from pollution and away from the din and bustle of town, the campus is suitable for a growing child.
